Under Attack

Hey everyone, this week has been very busy, I feel like I am constantly busy, and that's great we all should be busy with whatever life throws at us but sometimes I sometimes feel like I would like to just escape from it all. And today I would like to ask you all, are you suffering? are you alone? do you feel like theirs no hope? Do you feel like ending it all? If you answered yes to any of these I would like to just take a moment to tell you that I pray over these blogs and I pray for the reader to receive whatever healing you are in need of.
I'm going to break this blog into parts to make it easier to process and dissect.

Part 1 // When we are going through a dark place and you feel you need to escape from your circumstances and you feel like theirs nothing you can do. Well your wrong. When you feel alone in your circumstances whatever they may be turn to The Lord.

Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.

When you feel like things are getting on top of your, and you can't cope anymore and you need to escape from it all. Escape by running into the arms of your loving and protective Lord and Savior.

Recently I've started new and exciting journeys within my church and when things where starting to pile up and get on top of me, I ran to him. I sprinted and didn't look back. I know my place is with him and surrounded by the Holy Spirit.

A few weeks ago I felt like I wasn't coping very well at all with anything, just walking down the street would bring anxiety and dread. I honestly felt alone and down in my faith, but while I down and saddened God came to me in a thought and gave me his idea. This idea was a mad idea and something that I took from a simple but wild idea and turned it into an action. Sometimes God places ideas and thoughts in you and it will help you escape from the darkness into the light.
I feel much better now for running to him, and just giving him all my worries and burdens.

Part 2 // God doesn't just provide us with ideas and thoughts on how to escape when were under attack from the devil. He can provide physical and literal ways to escape.
I was thinking about ways God uses to help us escape from our situations and Noah came to mind. I love Noah! What a Godly man! #RelationshipGoals.

Genesis 7:6-10 Noah was 600 years old when the floodwater covered the Earth. Noah and his wife and sons and their wives boarded the ship to escape the flood. Clean and unclean animals, birds, and all the crawling creatures came in pairs to Noah and to the ship, male and female, just as God had commanded Noah. In seven days the floodwaters came.

11-12 It was the six-hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month that it happened: all the underground springs erupted and all the windows of Heaven were thrown open. Rain poured for forty days and forty nights.

13-16 That’s the day Noah and his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, accompanied by his wife and his sons’ wives, boarded the ship. And with them every kind of wild and domestic animal, right down to all the kinds of creatures that crawl and all kinds of birds and anything that flies. They came to Noah and to the ship in pairs—everything and anything that had the breath of life in it, male and female of every creature came just as God had commanded Noah. Then God shut the door behind him.

I love this scripture - My interpretation of this relating to escaping is that when your in a bad situation God will send you help whether it be instructions to build a boat or a thought on how to get out of the situation maybe strength and courage to help you along the way. And when your out of the situation and your safe away from your situation - the floods, God shuts the door he stops the floods from harming you. God guides you, if you simply just ask him. Pray to him. Talk to him, speak aloud, speak in your heart, just communicate with him and he will always be their for you.
So next time you are lost and don't have any idea on how to escape your problems, just think of Noah and how brave he was trusting in the Lord and how amazing God is for guiding Noah away from the terror of the world, he gave him and his family a fresh start. A new beginning of life.

Part 3 // Temptation is a huge topic for this blog. Because when you are tempted in whatever way God helps you escape from temptation so you can live a free and pleasing life.
1 Corinthians 10:13 God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
Next time you are tempted, just tell yourself, God knows your limits and he knows how strong you are and whatever attempts to tempt you you are stronger that this and you can just simply walk away from it in because God wouldn't let anything you couldn't handle come your way. You are his children and you are protected.

People think because your a Christian or Christ follower you life is easy and you live in happy land and we don't sin. Which is all false!! Life is never easy! We struggle, we have hopeless days, but you know one thing, Gods love lasts forever and whatever problem we face we can turn to him for guidance and he will help us escape from whatever situation we have gotten in. We need to face reality just because we are Christians doesn't mean we are happy every single day, our twitters and instagram might show us smiling and posing with out friends but only God knows our hearts and he knows how we truly feel inside, we might be frightened we might be thinking about ending it all, but God sees that and he will put in place an escape route you just need to turn to him and trust him, he is a faithful God.

So today girls I pray that you will escape from your floods and keep safe and just pray for an escape route because God has one for everyone and every situation all you need to do is ask.
Thank you for reading, have a blessed week everyone.

New Year, New Job, New Journey

New Year, New Job, New Journey.

Last year I ventured on what I thought was going to be amazing! and It was.... in the beginning. It was fun and I really enjoyed being a part of my host family. Unfortunately this didn't last, I was treat unfairly and with a mutual agreement we decided we would be better if I left and went home. So after a horrible few weeks with them I left while I was home alone, I didn't even say goodbye. This was the best thing to do because I didn't want to end on an argument. I left and still haven't heard from them. Not even a thank you for the Christmas gifts I left for them.
My family drove 5 hours to pick me and my boxes of luggage up to take me home.
I had no idea what I was going to do... No job... no income... no life.
After my 30 seconds of stressful thinking and doubting and panicking I asked God where he wanted me, where he wanted me to live, work, and rest. Within 1 day of being home I had an interview at a dream job, which I never thought I'd even be shortlisted for. After the Christmas weekend I was offered the job! To work with babies and toddlers at a day nursery! My dream job! (Don't get me wrong it's a challenge every day, but I think that's why God opened this door for me, I needed a challenge but be home and near family and my home church for support.

Because while being away I had no family and only new friends who didn't know my story or my life. I am super blessed to be home and have supportive and positive people who surround me daily. I can't wait to get stuck back into Kids Church at Paradox Church and connect groups and study groups and food bank connect. I am so happy to be home. Thank you Lord. You brought me home where I belong.
Thank you!

When God closes a door he doesn't just close it, he slams it so hard you never go back again and he opens brand new doors for you. It might not be as quick as it was for me but he will definitely take and save you from the darkness and bring you into the light. He is the light. Call to God and he will answer you. Give him a call today! His phone number is P-R-A-Y-E-R. It's the quickest way to reach him. It's the hotline to God. Pray to him for change in your life, if you are in a dark place or stuck in a place you know you shouldn't be in or cant get out of. Call him for help.

1 Thessalonians 5:5-8 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled.

Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Have a great week and do not be afraid, God is always with you and his light shines in you every day.

Goodbye Autumn : Lifestyle Blog

It’s official! Autumn is OVER!
Yes that’s right! Christmas is on the way… The red cups have made a comeback, our shops are filled with Christmas jumpers and dozens of decorations. My favourite time of the year! December!
I love autumn and winter because the cold brisk air when you go for a morning walk and the shorter days which means it gets darker earlier which also means for me, it’s harder to get out of bed. But I don’t mind as I love the dark nights and dark mornings. I love days where you can just stay in bed all day or lay on the couch snuggled up into a fluffy blanket watching Christmas films.
I have already watched Home Alone and Polar Express! That’s how excited I am. I think I’m most excited this year because I’m going home from being away since August and I worked in a pub on Christmas last year which meant no Christmas dinner for me and no family and this year I get both! How amazing is that!
#JessicasAuPairYear
This year is my first Christmas with my boyfriend too! So I can’t wait for Christmas and lots of yummy food and my little going away trip to a lovely 5 star private birthday treat!
I turn 20 on the 27th December and usually my birthday isn’t anything special but this year I get to go away and just escape for a night or two! It’s certainly going to be amazing!
The only things I shall miss when I leave Chelmsford when I go home at Christmas are Starbucks and Paper chase and the boys I look after in my au pair job.
I have enjoyed autumn but let’s get excited because the season is upon us. #JesusIsTheReasonForTheSeason #JesusBirthday

Don’t forget to be grateful this Christmas and the real reason for Christmas.

Submit and Straighten

Welcome to a blog that's been placed on my heart, I hope it helps you or makes you understand a little bit more about myself.

What path do you belong on? What path have you been on the past? What have you done to change that?

Before my life with Christ, I was heading onto paths which scared me and I didn't want to be on them, there was nothing in mind I could do.

Just before I started attending church my path I was walking on was unpleasant and included people who I did not want to have wandering on my path with me.

Some people haven't got a relationship with God and have a 'great' 'content' life. That's okay, but it wont stay like that forever, you'll have bumps on your road. But with God, your bumps will not be there forever. He will straighten them.

Do you like the path your on,or heading too?

We are all on journey and we are all given a path from God, he created the bricks and stepping stones for your path. We might not like it, we might love it. I personally love it, I'm useless at making decisions so relying on an almighty God makes me have a kind of peace and inner strength about the future.

Proverbs 3:6  In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Only by submitting your self to God, only then he will make your paths straight.
I love this piece of scripture, because I hate the idea that I'm on one path my entire life, I love the fact he will make our PATHS straight meaning that we will be on more than one path throughout our lives, but if we commit and submit to him he will make every path straight.

Psalm 1119:35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.

When God directs us we need to take that direction and instruction because after all he knows us best and knows where we need to go, not where we want to go. Sometimes we need to trust in him and his plans.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God has a plan for you and he knows exactly what path your on and were your heading, so trust in the Lord and just trust his guidance. We are all in need of some guidance, we can't do this on our own. We are all different but in need of the same God.

When I came to Christ, I chose to follow God and God's commands and in return he guided me on to the right path, the path and plan he had for me all along. It was amazing seeing the change in my self whilst choosing his path (In reality his plan chose me).

By submitting to the Lord, he straightened my path and that's the best thing I've decided to do.
I ask you now to think about this... Have you fully submitted yourself to the Lord, if not why? He has an amazing plan for you and if you haven't submitted yourself to the lord, how can you get to see a little part of your plan, God doesn't show you the plan for the rest of your life, he gives you a small segment of it, he shows you this ,to give you peace and hope for the future, you future with the Lord.

Today Remember : Submit and Straighten

And Also remember God sends us difficult paths but he will always provide us with strong shoes.
He will provide patience, strength and wisdom. Just Submit.

Thank you for reading today's blog. Have an amazing day.
Stay tuned for big news coming very soon!

Thank you & God Bless

Women with Jesus - Josephine Wolley

Welcome to A Guest post from Josephine Wolley
Women with Jesus.
Josephine is apart of the Bible For Women team! She has already guest posted before in the Natural sparkle Finale and I'm very humbled to welcome her back to the website with this awesome blog! I hope you all enjoy!

Decisions. Everyone has ever made decisions. But is that the best one for our future? And how do we know that the decision we make is the best decision from other choices? As women who believe in God, sometimes, even often we dont rely on God in making decisions. How important it is for we to rely on God in making decision? I emphasize to you that God is the all-knowing God. He has fearfully planned our lives. He has known what we'd be in the future and what  we can do to pass it. So, why do we still rely on ourselves? But I invite all women who read this to start making decisions with Jesus. What we think isnt always same as God's will.

-Women without Jesus- Sometimes when we rely on God alone, the situation still looks bad and we can imagine if we did not rely on Him..how it would be a mess..so even though we still hand the downs when we surrender our decisions on Him, keep on believing that God has guaranteed the best for us! Thats why we need faith to see something that's unseen. And don't forget to make sure your decision is in line with God’s Word. (Psalm 119:98) We will consistently make better decision when we line up with what God wants in our lives already.

We each need to listen to our heart and the prompting on the Holy Spirit to know what things are okay for us to do. Just because something may not be wrong, doesn't mean it's right for you at this time and in this situation. You'll consistently make good decisions if you're spending time in God’s word and acting on the advice you receive there.
So, sometimes the most difficult choices in life are not those between wrong and right, but choices of what is good and what is best.

Thank you for reading this blog and I hope to hear from you soon!

Natural Sparkle Part 2 - Guest Post

Hello and welcome to the second part of the natural sparkle blogging series.
I would like to thank you all for reading and following the blogs and writings from guest bloggers, and now I would like to welcome you to the first monthly guest blogger - Brittany Nicole.

Hey ladies!

I was asked to write a guest post on “Natural Sparkle”. I will admit, when I first read the email saying to write about natural beauty, I almost declined this amazing opportunity. For years I've struggled with self-worth, depression and body image issues. I've dealt with a very slight eating disorder that caused me to try to change my body in unhealthy ways. All my life I was told that I’d be prettier if I lost weight, and had numerous jokes about me looking pregnant. I was always taller than everyone else, and hated it. I actually wanted to have surgery to become shorter! That’s how much I hated my body. I had severe acne until recently, and I wasn't happy in my own skin. I felt like I didn't belong in my own body. I was so different on the inside from what I thought my appearance portrayed.

It wasn't until this past year, during my freshmen year of college that I became comfortable in my own skin. Yes, I still have acne. No, I didn't loose weight.  Yes, I’m still almost 6 feet tall.

My appearance didn't change. My outlook did.

Genesis 1:27 says, “ God created man in his own image…”

God created ME, in HIS own image. If I look at myself in disgust, or hatred, then what am I saying about God? Am I saying He’s ugly? Am I saying he deserves to be thrown every negative comment His way? Does He deserve to be put down for not looking the way society says He should look? NO.

So why do we do that to ourselves? If God made us in His image, then we should not put ourselves down. We should not look in the mirror and tell ourselves everything that’s wrong with our body. We should not wish to have something God didn't give to us. There’s a reason I’m not short. There’s a reason my skin isn't perfect. There’s a reason my hair isn't red and curly…. The reason is because that’s not the way God made me. He made me in HIS image. He made me the way HE wanted me to be. Why should I put down Gods creation? He obviously knew what He was doing. So why don’t we step back, look at ourselves in the mirror, and THANK Him. Thank Him for making us the way He wanted.

I know, I know. It’s not easy looking in the mirror, seeing a pimple, and saying “Thank you God for my pimple”. I realize that! Trust me! But we live in a world that isn't perfect, but we worship and belong to a perfect God. He made us perfect in His eyes, so why should we think otherwise?

Now, after trying very hard to stop obsessing with my looks, I am finally able to be myself. I still have acne, but I am able to walk outside without makeup on. I am finally able to wear a bathing suit without wearing a shirt and shorts over it. I am able to wear my hair up confidently without feeling like I look ugly. I now can wear shorts and tank tops boldly

My challenge to you is to look in the mirror, and say one POSITIVE comment to yourself every time you look into it. Train yourself to say positive comments, and slowly you’ll be able to avoid all the negative comments.

I’m not saying it’ll be easy, but with a little positive words of encouragement to yourself daily, you can slowly start to let your natural beauty sparkle, just like God intended.

WOW!!!!! How amazing is that! Just what a lot of us needed to hear!
I just want to say a huge thank you to my new guest blogger and friend and inspiration to me Brittany Nicole.

Brittany Nicole will be guest blogging every month so keep your eyes peeled for more awesome pieces from this beautiful young lady of God.

Thanks for reading I look forward to you connecting with us.

Purifying and Providing.

Purifying and Providing.

Hello! Well over the past week I have been a busy bee... Myself and my boyfriend went on a road trip in the UK. We visited Dalby- Where we attempted a high ropes tree course, and I myself got a few bruises and poorly thumb, then we traveled to the city of Leeds, where we went to a theater to see a musical called Wicked! After that we found a little bar with a brass band playing which were phenomenal, After Leeds we ventured to Lancaster and had a lovely day there, the next day we spontaneously decided to go to Blackpool, pleasure beach(theme park) it was really great, lots of fun! After Blackpool we drove to Morecambe where Kieran met his band and they gigged on the night, after the long gig came the even longer drive back home!!! And of course the Sunday included Church where we both attended!

Well that was why I haven't been blogging recently, I've literally had no internet service or the time. So I hope you enjoy this new blog.

Lets start with some amazing scripture... this is one of my favourite pieces of scripture!
Starting with James 4

-Submit Yourselves to God

''4 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

4 You adulterous people,[a] don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us[b]? 6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”[c]
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister[d] or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?''
                                           http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+4&version=NIV
I love this, basically resent the Devil, we all have our stuff, our problems that get in the way sometimes, we need to block the devil out, build a wall from Gods foundations -THE BIBLE - THE WORD OF GOD - and just say goodbye to the doubts, the conflicts and horrid thoughts, draw nearer to god, he wants to be in a relationship with you! He will not barge into your life, we have the free will to let God in, open the door and let God draw close to you.
Open the door and he will gently walk in.

God will purify your heart and mind, from all the badness and negative in the  world, he will provide you with peace and hope for a better future, he will provide you with love, unconditional love, after all he sacrificed his only son for us, for you! For everyone as we are all his children.
Our great almighty God is a purifying God, he cleanses your soul and mends your heart, he is the ultimate cleaning being, he cleans and cleanses us. But he is providing God, he fills us with fruit for our soul, scripture to feed on, the Holy spirit to have a relationship with! Isn't that just amazing?
He loves us so much he wants us to be cleansed and at peace with one another, but he also wants us to be spiritually fed, on his words and wisdom.

When researching James 4  I came across this brief of the scripture and I totally agree with it .... Your worldly desires cause conflict. Resist the devil, draw near to God. Who are you to judge your neighbor? You boast in arrogance.

You were created for a relationship with God so you can have a humble walk with Christ. Your life is a walk, you walk through things that may stick to you and things you may drop along the way, but you walk forward, sometimes you take a few steps back or sit on a bench when it gets tiring but you can either chose to be with God or without God, I choose God, I choose Jesus, I have searched for something to fill me spiritually and I have found Jesus!

I hope you find Jesus and choose Jesus, and I pray that you have a humble walk with God, and repel the Devil and draw closer to your creator.

Have a lovely and blessed week! I'll be in touch with more blogs this week!

Blossom and Bloom Finale!

Blossom and bloom has been amazing! It has brought people closer to God and now I want to share a very special lady with you!

Guest Writing today is a beautiful young lady of God. Her names Kerrington! She is a guest writer for blossom and bloom finale! Wahoo!

Kerrington is a 16 year old homeschooled gal, who currentlyabides in Ontario, Canada. She has a burning passion to see Women of all ages rise up and be everything God has called them to be. She adores journaling, shopping, and Star-bucks! She desires to continue following Jesus Christ more and more intimately each day!Her favorite pass time is Blogging on her own Blog…Which you can find here at: www.kerringtonuniquely-yours.blogspot.com

Kerrington-
Straight from a Servant's heart!

"If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will be my servant also. If anyone serves me, the father will honour him."
-John 12:26

Ever since a very young age,
I have grown up in the church serving and volunteering.
I was born with a very BIG servants heart!

Whether it be cutting pickles for the Church picnic, to leading the Children's worship...I was there.
Passionately serving, serving, serving and some more serving.
I think you get the point,
I was always serving.

For quite awhile...
I just was going to church, to serve.
Never to receive...running around getting little jobs done for the Pastor's or in the Sunday school room teaching the Kiddos about Jesus Christ, cleaning the closets, vacuuming...and so much more.

Whenever I would have the opportunity to sit and receive...
A guilt would then overcome my heart. Or when the clip-board for volunteers got passed around the congregation and I wouldn't put my name on it, because I was simply just to exhausted...the devil then started to play with my mind in that time of pure exhaustion.
It was definitely NOT what church was intended to be like.

Church in my eyes, should be a place of refuge and of strengthening.
A place where you come in incredibly weary and leave fresh,
and totally renewed!

Which Church...Yes! Is all of those things, but not when you have the mindset of always having to volunteer, to be close to God.

God dropped this letter upon my heart, when I started thinking about this post...

Dear to all Faithful Servants,

I know that this may seem like some sort of shock to you...but did you know that things wouldn't run properly if you weren't around?!
Did you know, we would feel as if something was missing if you wouldn't be here??
Did you know that we as a church family appreciate everything you do for this ministry?!

Volunteer, You are so very much appreciated, not only by your church families, but also the visitors of your church.

These people come in and see the diligence and faithfulness in your work and they are so blessed by it.
I know sometimes that you're willing and always ready to serve gentle spirit, may have grown quite weary and felt almost maybe, misused
over the past few months with the Churches being busy at work, preparing for the coming revival...
But I see your tired spirit,
And I'm here to fill you up
and restore you...So that you will be able to serve me with a joyful heart,
more and more faithfully!

I'm so proud of you!!
Seeing you surrendering your hands and feet to me, so that we all can extend the kingdom together, is such a joy to see :)

All the Volunteer hours that don't get noticed... I appreciate each and every one of them. I am always with you, if you need to chat.

I'm with you when you are busy running around doing tons of Volunteer work, I'm with you when you are in the prayer room for a few moments of rest, I'm with you In the grocery store when you are about to get the courage, to witness to someone.
Thing is, I'm always with you!

I'm your strength when you are weary, your peace when you feel in complete chaos, I'm your God and I'm always with you ❤️

Always remember you are appreciated...
I see every minute you are passionately serving me and I am
so incredibly proud, words can't even describe it :)

Love always,
~God,Your Proud Heavenly Father!

Galatians 6:9 says...
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

So if you are new to this journey of volunteering in your church, embark with a joyful-serving heart, pray and ask your Heavenly Father, what he would have you to do!

If you grow weary in your well doing, don't give up...
Pause and find sweet rest
in Him.

Until Next time,

~Kerrington

WOW! What an inspiring young lady! I believe that Kerrington will have an amazing life with Christ at the center and encourage others in the making to become closer to God. I am very excited to have met her and to have worked with her! I am blessed and humbled by her support.

Blossom and Bloom part 3.... There's not much more I can add to the wonderful writings of Kerrington but I will just say that my life has changed for the better since I have started serving and volunteering at my church! I want my church to grow and bloom into a beautiful place of worship and I'm doing my part to make sure that happens.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog series and I hope it has encouraged you to serve in church and serve Jesus in your life! Because there's nothing more important than a strong relationship with Jesus!

Simply God is Love and Love is God!

Have an awesome week!!!
Lots of Love

Blossom and Bloom - Part One

Welcome to the BRAND NEW 3 part blog series which will question you and your way of life.

The Series will begin every Saturday for 3 weeks and all you have to do is read the blog and answer the questions. If you want to send me your answers to be published on the final blog then you are very welcome to do that.
jessica@bibleforwomen.co.uk
I pray that this blog will be used to glorify God and show others who don't believe what their missing out on. Thank you for supporting me and the prayers you have prayed over the       Bible For Women.

Lets Start with a piece of scripture- Colossians Verse 3 Chapter 23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

This piece of scripture is all about serving, this is something that has been very important to me, especially recently, I have become more involved in my church and now I am helping at Kids Church with arts and crafts.

God has gave you gifts and talents where you can use your expertise to serve God and spread his word throughout the nations.

In the words of a brilliant christian author Caroline Barnett "Remember you are not responsible for changing the entire world or doing grand acts of service. Every bit willingness matters to God" this was taken from her amazing book called Willing to Walk on Water. I bought this book at Cherish Conference 2013 and this was such a inspirational event! If you haven't already, book for Cherish 2014 its going to be so encouraging and life changing!

Activity 1 - Think about your skills and try to think about what your good at (This is a hard thing for most people as we don't like to be modest, but try your best)
For example - Have a passion for working with children - Therefore you could serve in Children's church groups. (Like me, I start serving at Kids Church this Sunday- Super Excited!)

You could serve Jesus and church by inviting people to church and bringing people closer to God. In the next 2 blogs I will go into further details and length to serving in church, what it does for the church and also for your faith.

Proverbs Chapter 11 Verse 30 - A good life is a fruit bearing tree; a violent life destroys souls. If good people barely make it, whats in store for the bad?

This to me is very important, A life with God in the centre is a good life and will be praised and rewarded in the long run. In heaven you will be rewarded with eternal life. Why do people chose to live a violent life, to me this makes no sense, would you not rather live in peace and have a flourishing faith and loving family and church family. Violence is never the answer, NEVER!

Violence does destroy souls and especially the soul of the corrupted person.
To me it's as simple as a Disney film, Good always conquers evil, good characters always come out on top, they always live happily ever after and so could people on earth, they could live in peace and serenity and have a beautiful life with Jesus Christ, he is risen therefore he is a living God.
Without God you haven't got a firm foundation and you will crumble, but the upside to crumbling is you may find God if haven't already, for example we all love looking at the stars in night sky but before the stars come out and are visible we need to see the dark skies.
When darkness is upon us don't forget to look for the stars because there ready to shine through the darkness and give you light and hope.

The light and hope is Jesus Christ!

We need to introduce Christ to nonbelievers, we need to get more people into church's and serving and making an impact on this world, because at the end of the day that's what were here to do. Serve the Lord, because he gave his only son to die for us so we can live in peace and have a beautiful life on his beautiful planet.

Question Time:
1. Do you believe that God wants you to serve in your church?
2. If you are already serving, what are doing?
3. If you aren't serving, why not?
4. Have you asked God to use you?
5. Do you believe that serving in church can strengthen your faith?

Love and Relationships Introduction

Hello Girls!
I hope this blog clears some things up about Love and Relationships through the word of God.
Love is summarised in 1 Corinthians Chapter Thirteen Verse Four-
Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

1 John Chapter Three Verse Six
This is how we've come to to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our follow believers, and not just be out ourselves. If you see some brother or sister in need and have means to do nothing about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God's love? It disappears. And you've make it disappear.

Girls! How incredible is that? God would sacrifice his only son for our sinner selves at the time.
That's love, he is love, his love for us is unconditional, he doesn't ask for anything in return. He loves anybody and everybody, you cant be in a relationship with God unless you open your heart fully. Gods door is always open, our door is closed unless we open it. It only opens from our side, so open your door and invite god into your life. Begin a relationship or strengthen your relationship with God. A relationship with God is surprising and wonderful. Let Christ Jesus save you! Open your door!

God is love- He taught us love when he sacrificed Jesus! That is unconditional love.
Live sacrificially, love everyone! We are all children of God therefore we need to love each other and be there for one another (in my opinion we need to share our journeys with god with each other and inspire and encourage each other).

This blog will continue for a few weeks as I believe it is an amazing topic throughout the Bible.

Thank you for reading this blog.
God bless

Prayer and Praise.

Hello Girls!
I hope this blog helps you become more aware of the impact of praying and praising.

Girls we need to stop moaning and moping around, and praise the Lord for this incredible life we have been given. Yes I understand all of us have problems for example health problems, learning difficulties, and family feuds. But when your dashing around in the busyness of your life, just stop for a moment and look around, look at the beautiful planet our extraordinary creator has made for you and me and all of us.

Next time your out and a bout just pause for one moment and look, look around you.
Gods Creation
God has created such a wonderful planet and sometimes we can just go ahead with our days and forget to appreciate the beauty of the Earth. He created this all for us so we need to thank him! Simply praise him for his creation.

We cant expect to receive anything from God, if we don't thank him for the things we already have. We need to simplify the process of prayer! Starting with praising and worshiping the amazing life giver.

Psalm chapter nineteen verse one.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His         hands.

Nature is a constant reminder placed right in front of us every single day.
It's a reminder that we walk upon an amazing planet. The skies, trees, flowers, the animals, the mountains, the rivers, and seas all are reminders of God's power, love for us and glory.

The Hotline
Prayer is a hotline straight to God. The hotline becomes severed if their is a lack of praise. Our mission in life is to praise God for everything he has done and everything he is working on. Show him how much he means to you. I know this is hard when you are waiting for a breakthrough/answer on something you have been burdened with and need guidance with, but by showing God you love him and by praising him in your darkest hours shows him how dedicated you are to him. It shows God how strong your faith in him is.

Psalm Chapter Sixty- Eight Verse Twenty- Three
Blessed be the Lord—
day after day he carries us along.
He’s our Savior, our God, oh yes!
    He’s God-for-us, he’s God-who-saves-us.
Lord God knows all
    death’s ins and outs.
What’s more, he made heads roll,
split the skulls of the enemy
As he marched out of heaven,
saying, “I tied up the Dragon in knots,
put a muzzle on the Deep Blue Sea.”
You can wade through your enemies’ blood,
and your dogs taste of your enemies from your boots.
                                                                          [Good News] Translation

Trust in the Lord with everything you have, he won't let you down, just trust in his perfect timing. God walks along side you everyday and is guiding you along the path he has created for you.

Next time you pray to God open your heart and mind to god, let him have his way with you. I fully opened up to God and his plans for me and I was truly amazed at what he had in-store for me. Get out of your comfort zone and your comfortable life style, and explore more of Gods word and his planet he has created for each of us.

Important Prayer
Girls, we need to pray importantly... We need to stop praying recklessly, for example instead of praying to pass an exam/test, why not pray for good time management throughout revision for the exam/test. Which then will help towards passing.
God gave us free will, why not use it wisely.

Godly Plan for 2014
-No more complaints and a lot more encouragement!
-Be more grateful for the things you already have in your life!
-Pray Wisely
-Pray with your whole heart!
-No more worrying and a lot more hoping- Always have Hope!
-And GIRLS JUST PRAISE YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!

I hope it helps some of you girls out there who need to strengthen your bond and connection to God. Remember Praying is a straight hotline to God.

Thank you for reading this blog!

Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging. Part Three

Hi girls hope your all well! This blog will focus on Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging.
Part Three.
Lets start with Belonging-

Many dictionaries define belonging by a happiness felt in a secure relationship.
We all need a sense of belonging, for in belonging is security and acceptance. Feeling accepted gives you confidence to share your deepest feelings without worry of rejection. And when you belong to God, that security and acceptance can never be taken away.

When you feel alone for whatever reason just remember you belong to God!
Deuteronomy Chapter Thirty-Three Verse Twenty-Seven
The Eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you.

God is supporting you along your path of life, he is there every step you make, every corner you turn, and bump you trip over. He is so involved in your life, sometimes we forget that he knew about us before we were even born.

Psalm Chapter Seventy-Three Verse Twenty-Four
I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.

Romans Chapter One Verse Six
You are included among those... who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ.

Only you can be sure if you belong to God or not.
1 John Chapter 2 Verse Three to Five.
We can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims. 'I know God', but doesn't obey God's Commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God's word truly show how completely they love him. This is how we know we are living in him.

Your obedience is a great reflection of your love for God and your belief in him. God understands that we are not perfect so sometimes it's hard to obey him all the time. God looks for your desire to please and obey him!
He looks for your desires, commitments, and your efforts in which you should want to please him daily.

Christ Jesus promises anyone who belongs to him there will be no condemnation.

Girls! Listen up!
So when your waiting for a breakthrough, and your at rock bottom, don't give up, keep obeying God's commandments, you belong to him therefore he will come to rescue... He always does and he always will!
Our amazing almighty creator will pick you up no matter how many times the devil knocks you down!

Activity: Every morning wake up and tell yourself that you belong to Jesus Christ, praise him and thank him for the goodness in your life. And tell yourself that no child of god will be condemned.

Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging. Part Two

Hi girls hope your all well! This blog will focus on Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging.
Part Two.
Lets start with Bitterness-
Bitterness comes when you allow anger to control you.

1 Samuel Chapter Thirty Verse Six
David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the Lord his God.

2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse Seven

It is time to forgive and comfort him. Otherwise he may be overcome by discouragement.

Bitterness comes when other hurt you and you refuse to forgive them. Don't ever stop forgiving and forgetting. Remember that God has forgiven you even though you continue your tendency to sin.

Just as God forgive you without limit, you should forgive others without counting how many times. Yes forgiveness isn't cheap. The hard work of real forgiveness reveals a love that is tough but lasting.

Luke Chapter Twenty-Three Verse Thirty-Four.

Jesus said ''Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing.''
If we don't forgive others, how can we expect God and others to forgive us?

Matthew Chapter Five Verse Thirty-eight
''Here's another old saying that deserves a second look: Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. Is that going to get us anywhere? Here's what I propose: 'Don't hit back at all. 'If someone strikes you, stand there and take it. If someone drags you into court and sues for the shirt off your back, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. And if someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live Generously.

[The Message Remix] Translations are used throughout this blog.

If we don't forgive others this leads to unresolved bitterness, which then leads to hatred, anger, jealousy, and revenge. It can keep you from communicating to God and others and it can blind you from noticing God's blessings. This isn't the right way to live.

The antidote to bitterness is simply forgiveness. It will unburden you and cancel any debts and unchain you from unresolved feelings such as anger and frustration.

God promises to forgive you
Colossians Chapter Three Verse Thirteen.

Don't Forget That!

Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging. Part One

Hi girls hope your all well!
This blog will focus on Bullying, Bitterness and Belonging

Part One

Lets start with Bullying-

Sadly many girls from a young age are bullied and a minority of these girls take there own life in attempt to escape this problem. This has got to be put to a stop! Girls are a major target for bullies as the bullies think girls are vulnerable and weaker and less capable of winning, I personally think this is a load of baloney!
As girls we need to fight!

Whether it be a bully making everyone laugh at you or a bully personally attacking you and threatening you - It is wrong!

Daughters of the Lord are protected and you need to realize you're not worthless and in fact you are all daughters of god, and even though you can forget for a moment that your not on your own, you have The Lord watching over you, bullying is the work of the devil when you trust people and they hurt you this is the devil trying to say, look you can't even trust your friends, how could you trust a being who's letting you down! That's when you have to become warriors and fight!

We need to get our spirit swords out and fight back to the devil and say no I won't be treat like this, I was created in the image of our Heavenly Father and I will not be defeated!

I will forgive the bully, as it's good for my soul and it's harder than you think forgiving someone who hasn't asked for forgiveness, but that is what god wants his children to do.

Forgiveness is not a feeling - it's a decision we make because we want to do what's right before God. It's a quality decision that won't be easy and it may take time to get through the process, depending on the severity of the offense.

Joyce Meyer

Bullying makes people alone and vulnerable, we were created as daughters of god, not perfectly strong people who don't need help... we were created to be imperfect worshipers of Christ Jesus! He loves us even though we aren't perfect.

The definition of perfection is something or someone that has no defects. By my understanding the only perfect being is God himself.
God is love, hope, joy, protective, providing, pure, gentle, courageous, compassionate, light, holy, abundant, salvation, creative, life giver... and so much more! He is risen, the almighty God in which he loves you!

So if you are struggling with a bullying situation just remember Jesus died for you so you could live a free and joyous life! He loves you and you are no alone!

Activity: Instead of acting on your own in a tough situation, pray! Pray like you've never prayed before! Instead of asking for god to fix everything, try asking god for the patience and understanding of how you can fix things. He gave you free will and you need explore that free will with God's help and guidance.

I found this informing video on Youtube recently and thought I'd share it with you. It's not my video but gives a really amazing message to everyone regarding bulling.
